Although I am constantly disgusted at the antiblackness of the world & hollywood’s infamous erasure of KNOWN BLACK WOMEN historical figures & their obsession of replacing them , the costumes in this movie are beautiful . I certain sure Makeda’s original garb put these costumes to shame. But nevertheless take a look below.
